Zanderland Asante is the founder and CEO of Poet in
Flight Music, Trumpet Angel Media, and Creative Seasons Music Publishing (BMI). She has served as a communication
professor for Morgan State University and Howard University; talk-show producer for WBAL radio (Baltimore) and
WBZ radio (Boston); and development director & radio announcer for WEAA radio in Baltimore. As a writer, her style has been described as refreshing, comforting, and healing.
Her gift of blending poetic verse with melody is gracefully being share all over the world. Zan currently resides in Austin, TX with her husband Tony and her son, age 16 and daughter, age 14.
